- Custom ring-making with partners or friends. Very unique experience. They have a variety of options for details and offer free regular maintenance. They have programs where you can use your "culture points" as well.
- There's a simple train track where you can ride on a train of mining carts around the area. There are 2 stops where you can get off and play with equipments. Not crowded because it's pretty far out from the city. It's also right next to Houtong Cat Village. A great stop along the way if you're nearby to try something unique and new that you wouldn't normally get the chance to.
- A bit rural but it's known for the numerous cats that live there. A very cute and cozy village where you can chill with cats. It's at Houtong train station, a great stop along the way if you are going to Jiufen.
- They have the option of making your own drinks under their guidance, and you get free cookies for doing so. It's simple and fun. The unique feature is there are multiple games that help you reflect on life and provoke philosophical discussions. I loved their wall of post-it notes with personal stories from visitors. The only thing is that their menu and games are fully in Mandarin, but the staff knows a little bit of English.
